On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at the Tokyo International Forum, Durst Forum 2018 was held for the building material, industrial, signage, and POP display printing industries. As a carrier of their inkjet printers, we in cooperation with Durst hold the forum, and it is thanks to their help that this year we were able to hold the sixth iteration of Durst Forum.
On the day of the event, "A Look from the World: The Japanese Printing Market" began with an introduction to the newest world business and introduced a look at Japanese market value and trends from the world's point of view. The first announcement of the new Rho P5 in Japan was made; in a comparison of their previous large-format printers, the Rho P5 exceeded performance in all aspects of design (from resolution, productivity, maintenance, material replacement, to the interface). In addition, the Delta series of printers, designed specially for corrugated and display printing, was announced as well.
The production manager of Durst in Austria came to Japan, and along with the current situation in the inkjet market, Asian trends, large-format printer market conditions, and market trends in the future, Durst also included several materials suitable for printing with Durst printers at the forum. We provided samples printed with the newest materials and making use of the inkjet printer's special qualities, with very positive reception.
With various industries in attendance, the Forum was full of excitement, and anticipation for the inkjet printing market is higher than ever. We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone for coming from all parts of Japan and the world and participating in Durst Forum 2018. Thank you very much.
